Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 will feature a snapdragon 665 mobile platform, which is an upgrade to the snapdragon 660 we saw on the Redmi Note 7.

Note 8 Pro, on the other hand, will be powered by the flagship MediaTek G90-T which is according to reports is better than the Snapdragon 710 processor.

The standard Redmi Note 8 will be endowed with a 48MP massive camera just like its predecessor, the Pro version, however, will incorporate Samsung’s 64MP ISOCELL sensor which is 38% bigger than the 48MP sensor used in the Redmi Note 7 series and will offer 9248 x 6936 pixel resolution.

However Redmi Note 7 uses a dual-camera setup on the rear, Note 8 has added two more to make a quad-camera setup while offering features like super wide-angle camera, depth of field camera, and a super macro lens.

Xiaomi Note 8 is expected to feature the Infinity-O (hole-punch display) while the Pro version will get an Infinity-U (water-drop notch display).

Xiaomi should have introduce a better and more advance processor, as many users dislike the choice of MediaTek processor on the Note 8 Pro, It should also be noted that the device is based on the 12nm processor.

The MediaTek Helio G90T features MediaTek’s HyperEngine game technology to boost the mobile gaming experience, supports up to 10GB of RAM, CPU speeds of up to 2.05GHz, 64MP single camera and multi-camera combinations, quad pixel technology for night shot mode, triple-ISP design and AI facial detection.

Interestingly, the Helio G90T offers dual Wi-Fi Connections that allows a single smartphone antenna to be connected to two Wi-Fi bands (2.4GHz/5GHz) or two routers simultaneously.
To me this one of the amazing features I love about the device.

Both devices will run the latest Android 9.0 Pie OS and will be available in different storage options. Both devices will be powered by a 4500mAh battery with fast charging technology support.

Although at the moment of writing this post, there aren’t enough details about the tech specifications and features, so you may want to stick around to get more updates once the device launches.

Most likely, however, it’s possible that you’ve unintentionally activated the silent mode on your phone, unknowingly left it on airplane or do not disturb mode, sometimes having an active call forwarding on your device might lead to not been aware of certain calls.

•First check your volume settings so as to ensure it's at it maximum volume. On most Android phones, there are four sliders: media volume, call volume, ring volume and alarm volume. Ring volume is what you need to adjust.

Call volume adjusts sound during a phone call conversation. Can you hear other types of audio, like music, videos, or alarms? Try switching to a different ringtone.

If you’re using a third-party ringtone, try one of the built-in options.

•Check to confirm whether your device is not in flight/airplane mode.

When this mode is enabled, phone calls are automatically sent to voicemail.


You can check this by pulling down from the top of the phone's screen to access Quick Settings or by going to Settings > Network & internet > Airplane mode.
