If you leave that choir or even if you stop doing music today no one can take away what you've gained. The benefits of spiritual growth will still affect other areas of your life. Growing up in the spirit will help you to increase your sensitivity to God's leading. Ability to know what God is saying will save you from many tragedies. Can you now see this has nothing to do with music. Growing up spiritually will help you to access certain things in God reserved for sons.
See we may all be CHILDREN of God and that has some benefits. But in God there are deeper realms only reserved for those who can press in and go deeper.

Growing spiritually will benefit your health, marriage, family, projects and more.
Spend more time in prayer. Don't be too busy with your itinerary that you forget who called you. Don't be too busy working for God that you ignore your walk with God
